Welcome

West Essex OB/GYN, P.C. cares for women from adolescence through their post-menopausal years. Together with our dedicated and friendly office staff, we provide a warm, comfortable and safe environment. Our practice is devoted to obstetrics and gynecology, including well-woman care, infertility, contraceptive counseling, surgery, and complete obstetrical management including care of high risk pregnancies.

All of our services are provided directly by our board certified physicians, ensuring you the most up to date and accurate healthcare available. The office is equipped with laboratory ultrasound, colposcopy, minor procedure and fetal non-stress testing areas. Additionally, patient education materials are available both in the office, from the physicians, as well as here on our website.

Dr. Richard Fain

Dr. Richard Fain is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist who has been in private practice in Livingston, New Jersey since completing his residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in 1978. He is an expert gynecological surgeon with over thirty years experience. Enjoying the individualized attention he affords each patient, Dr. Fain continues to find great satisfaction in practicing obstetrics and delivering babies.

Dr. Oren Keiser

Subsequent to receiving his M.D. degree from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Dr. Oren Keiser completed his residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Keiser offers his individual attention to each patient. He is focused on proper well-women care as well as the prevention and treatment of gynecological disorders. Dr. Keiser is committed to fostering long-term physician-patient relationships throughout his patients’ reproductive years and beyond.

Dr. Tara Abella

Dr. Abella earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and her M.D. degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine. After graduating from medical school, she went on to complete an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. She is a Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist. Dr. Tara Abella has a passion for women’s health care and enjoys providing and complete care to female patients of all ages as they progress from adolescence through the post-menopausal years.

Stephanie Allocca A.P.N.

Stephanie’s special interests and skills are well suited to serve the needs of our patient population with contraceptive counseling, menstrual regulation, adolescent adjustment, postmenopausal issues and cervical cancer screening.
